Trinity County 72-Hour Release Status
No official Trinity County 72-hour release feed was found. The sheriff’s Current Inmates page is a live-custody roster with no three-day tab, release-date field, or past-release archive. Its cards are removed from the useful current view when custody data changes. They do not become a historical list.
A three-day question should be framed as a request for existing booking-out or release-log entries between exact start and end times. The longer span helps capture a court order entered late in one day and a book-out completed later. Yet Trinity publishes no weekend or holiday processing schedule. The record must still establish the actual time, type, authority, and destination for each event.

Trinity Weekend Release Checks
A three-day span can cover a Friday court action, a weekend transfer, and a later book-out. It can also capture a person who moved between Trinity and an outside jail. No official source established Trinity’s weekend or holiday release timing, so do not assume an order will be processed on a standard schedule.
The signed order and physical departure are separate events. A court document shows authority. The jail’s book-out time shows execution. If another hold exists, the person may be transferred even after the local case permits release. Review all three days of the court docket and all handoff records before calling the event a community release.

Obtain Trinity County Release Records
Request the smallest existing set that answers the question. For a full three-day log, ask for booking-out or release entries rather than a custom report. For one person, include the exact name, identifiers, booking number if known, last known facility, and approximate dates. Texas Public Information Act costs depend on the record and work required. Trinity did not publish a specific release-log fee or response time. Ask for electronic public portions and a cost estimate. Trinity 72-Hour Roster Limits
The roster reloads in the browser every 60 seconds. That describes a technical cadence, not the speed or accuracy of book-out reporting. On August 2, 2026, a provider-disruption notice made even current-presence inference unsafe. A person missing during an outage may still be held.
Online visibility and record retention are different. The live card may vanish when current custody ends, while the underlying booking-in/out, transport, transfer, release, and related property records remain subject to state retention rules. That is why a records request can answer a three-day question even when no public archive exists.

Trinity Three-Day Transfer Chains
Trinity County’s jail population is often housed beyond Groveton. The official inmate page names seven outside jails, and a January 2026 contract added Angelina County capacity. During a three-day period, a person may leave Trinity’s physical jail, arrive elsewhere, return for court, or book out from the receiving jail. Each step needs its own record.
Keep the sending transfer entry and receiving custody confirmation together. If the outside jail later releases the person, obtain its book-out record as well. This two-link chain avoids treating transport as freedom. It also shows which agency can answer questions about the actual time and pickup location.

Verify Trinity Three-Day Outcomes
A three-day file can contain more than one custody event. Sort records by actual timestamp and custodian. A court order may come first, followed by transfer back to Trinity, clearance of another hold, and final book-out from a different jail. Calling the first departure a release would omit the rest of that chain.
For community release, keep the executing jail’s booking-out entry and the signed order when available. For a county transfer, retain both sending and receiving records. A TDCJ move requires the commitment, Trinity transfer, and state custody result. A federal or immigration handoff requires the sheriff destination notation, relevant docket record, and the next custodian’s result.
Identity must remain stable across the range. Use the booking, case, SID, TDCJ, BOP, or A-number that fits the system. A birth date can be given privately to an agency to resolve a match, but it need not be reproduced in a public summary. If every online system returns no match, contact the last confirmed custodian and request its departure record. No result becomes useful only after outages, scope, identity, and receiving agencies have been checked.
The final wording should match the record: bonded out, time served, transferred, paroled, discharged, released to ICE, or another stated event. Each term carries a different custody meaning.
Keep a short source log for each day in the range. Note the agency, record title, event time, and exact disposition. This makes it easier to reconcile a Friday court order with a later weekend transfer or Monday book-out. Do not replace an unavailable record with an old social post or news image. Those sources can add dated context, but they cannot establish the present custody outcome.
